Over 20 years ago we signed up as associates with PPLSI, just as a favor to a friend. My background was in insurance sales, and after three other network marketing companies failed us prior to PPLSI, we vowed that with this company we would just use the membership and not be involved in the business. All of that changed after we used the membership for the first time, resolving a billing issue with the local telephone company that we had not been able to correct ourselves after three months. We saw how powerful the membership is for the average American, and I started marketing the membership along with my insurance products.

Within two years of working PPLSI, we noticed how considerable the income had become, so I decided to get to know the company more. Mr. Wilburn Smith came to Albuquerque for a meeting and after hearing his testimonial, I went to my first convention, held in Oklahoma City. When I visited the Home Office in Ada (at this time, it was on Main Street before the new building was constructed), I was so impressed with the leadership and atmosphere there, I decided this was a company that had a service I wanted to represent. Since then, we’ve fallen in love with the membership, the mission, the history and the people involved in the company. PPLSI gives us the opportunity to work the business on our schedule.

Bill recently retired as an electrical engineer after 44 years, so now we can go anywhere and work our business anytime we choose. Last year we purchased a 40-foot motor home and have taken our business on the road — because PPLSI allows us to work “from phone!”

We love to travel with other PPLSI Associates on epic business trips! We have enjoyed many adventures while we were growing our PPLSI business. When Covid hit, our income continued and we weren’t tied to one place.

We have three grown children and five beautiful grandchildren, ages 11 to 3, whom we can enjoy time with during the week as well as the weekend! We love traveling, camping, hiking, 4x4-ing and off-roading, and we also enjoy water sports. We love to spend time with family and friends.

We earned our $100,000 Ring in 2009, and to date, we have written over 8,500 memberships. We love the life that PPLSI affords us, including our new home in a great community, the ability to come and go as we please, sleep until we’re done in the morning and enjoy all-expenses paid trips we’ve earned through PPLSI’s incentive program! But the best part is the friendships we have in this business — they are priceless because we know friends are the family we create!
